TLDR

Chris Medland reported during the October 11 Singapore GP that Ferrari told Hamilton he needed more pace for Plan C to work. When Hamilton said he had no more pace, Ferrari said it would switch to Plan B. Medland added that Hamilton was nearly two seconds per lap slower than Verstappen, while Lawson was matching his pace, so a pit window was not opening for drivers from P3 back.
