William Byron wins at Martinsville as Kyle Larson nears third NASCAR Cup title

It was Byron's first victory of 2026. Larson recovered from falling a lap down to finish ninth, leaving him 67 points ahead of Christopher Bell and 70 ahead of Denny Hamlin. At the Homestead-Miami finale, nine points or a finish of 28th or better will clinch Larson's third Cup title.
