Ed Carpenter Racing becomes first known IndyCar team to buy its own driver-in-the-loop simulator

The team has relied on simulator access from its engine supplier, which limits when its drivers and engineers can use the tool. Having a Dynisma DMG-1 in-house will give them more time to test setups and prepare for the new Dallara IR-28 chassis, due in 2028.
