Brad Keselowski reaches verbal RFK Racing release agreement to pursue a 2027 Cup ride

Brad Keselowski said he reached a verbal agreement with RFK Racing about an hour before his Oct. 31 news conference, freeing him to pursue a 2027 Cup Series ride. The agreement had not yet been put in writing, and he had no driving deal. After a disagreement over his driving and competition roles, he plans to seek Cup opportunities and marketing partners and begin selling his 20% RFK stake.
