Hot air balloons in Seattle
This was a really neat event at the Seattle! Excited for the next hot air balloon in downtown Seattle in June! Called Seattle Ballooning’s hot air balloon spectacular. Last year 15k people showed up. This year we expect 20k-25k. Should epic.
Seattle Ballooning is hosting a free Hot Air Balloon Spectacular on June 22, 2025, at the Seattle Center. The event features 100-ft tall hot air balloons glowing beneath the Space Needle. Attendees can enjoy a one-hour experience with up-close views, epic photos, and a festival-like atmosphere. The event is free and takes place at the International Fountain Lawn with the Space Needle in the background. The Armory will serve food until 9:30 pm. Participants are encouraged to bring a camera, a blanket or chair for comfort, and their sense of wonder.
