Elon Musk celebrates claimed milestone of more than 700 Falcon 9 flights

Elon Musk congratulated the SpaceX team on Oct. 31 for what he called “over 700 Falcon 9 flights.” He made the remark in a quote-post of @XFreeze, which identified Starlink 15-16 on Oct. 27 as the 700th mission and Starlink 15-18 on Oct. 31 as the 701st. Those mission numbers are @XFreeze’s account, not a verified flight tally.

In a separate X reply, @mattbratt focused on the pace behind the claimed milestone: “The landings get the headlines, but the launch cadence is the real engineering win.” The commenter also recalled that flying the same booster 18 times had sounded like science fiction when they started at NASA.
