First direct exoplanet radio signal reportedly detected from Beta Pictoris b

Universe Magazine reports that astronomers have detected a radio signal directly from Beta Pictoris b, calling it a first for a planet orbiting another star. It says auroras likely produced the signal. A separate post says the bursts imply a magnetic field of at least 1.25 kilogauss, roughly 2,500 times stronger than Earth's.
