RFdiffusion3 introduces atom-level design for proteins and nucleic acids

RFdiffusion3 is a generative AI method for designing biopolymers under detailed atomic constraints. Its authors report that it worked faster and more accurately than previous methods across challenges spanning enzyme and RNA structure design. In two separate 96-construct campaigns, they obtained active phosphotriesterases and zinc proteases specific for transthyretin. The abstract does not give the number of active designs in either campaign.
