Blizzard Advisory Today

The blizzard warning for Sapporo City has been upgraded to a wind and snow advisory.

Heavy snow, avalanche, and snow accumulation advisories remain in effect.

City bus service has been suspended while there is also disruption in the train service by JR Hokkaido affecting morning commuters. Heavy traffic is now occurring in major roads. The public is advised to refrain from driving if possible.
