Estonian E-residency program brings in €125m in 2025

Estonia's e-Residency program had a record year in 2025, bringing in €125 million to the state, a rise of 87 percent. The program saw 5,556 new companies founded by e-residents, a 15 percent increase, and 13,828 new e-residents, a 20 percent increase. The program's success is attributed to Estonia's business-friendly environment and digital services, which attract entrepreneurs from around the world. The program plans to phase out the traditional plastic e-residents' card to further streamline the process.
