UK citizens to be able to visit China for 30 days visa free
The deal was announced today meaning British passport holders will no longer require a visa to enter mainland China
During his visit to Beijing, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced that UK citizens will be able to travel visa-free to China for up to 30 days, aligning with other major economies. The announcement coincides with a $15 billion investment by AstraZeneca in China, aimed at expanding its medicines manufacturing and research and development. The UK and China also agreed on a series of deals to enhance cooperation in various sectors, including transnational organized crime, services trade, and technical and vocational education.
