Apple accounts - what do you use for MFA

This has been a bit of a challenge for us.

We have several Apple accounts used for ABM or cert renewals for MDM.

We have to register a mobile/landline for MFA.

There is no TOTP option, which is stupid and very unlike Apple and their "security first" marketing.

Curious to know - how do other MSPs deal with this?
