3D printed velocity stacks to help an ‘88 Yamaha FZR1000 run better
So this 1988 Yamaha FZR1000 landed in my garage without much advance notice or research as to what i was getting into. Long story short, it was missing the OEM airbox and filter, running ridiculous lean, and overheating. yada yada yada, we ended up designing velocity stacks, 3D printed them, and re-jetted and tuned the Mikuni carbs to the new air intake. Bike is running phenomenal now. pics are of few prototypes and final install with ramair filters.
