Introduction

Hello Digg, I'm zewm. I used to use Digg during it's initial run back in the late 00s. I left during the Version 3 update that ruined the website. I was an avid fan of all things Revision 3. Diggnation, Tekzilla, Hak5 and all their other shows. Like everyone else I went to the new website at the time Reddit. I spent many years there until more recently when they decided to make some changes. The last time I used reddit was the last day that they allowed 3rd party applications to use their API at a reasonable price. This killed all the phone apps and so that was the last day I used it.

When I heard about Digg returning after Diggnation returned, I was excited to revisit the old stomping grounds. I know it is still in it's early stages but let's see where it goes.

On the personal side I enjoy watching wrestling, riding motorcycles and playing video games. I used to be a big movie / tv show / music buff back in the 90s and 00s but I have not kept up with the joneses. A lot of my media knowledge ends around the mid 00s. Some of my favorite TV shows are Supernatural, Doctor Who, Star Trek (pre Discovery), Roseanne, Battlestar Galactica, ER and Scrubs.

I am a xennial. I didn't quite make the cut for Gen X but I'm a bit older than the majority of millenials. My formative years were the mid 90s to the mid 00s. I graduated high school in 2000. I was born and raised in Miami and have spent over 40 years here.

These days I feel like I'm just kinda cruising through life and just take things in one day at a time.

I'm hoping this post will spur others join in on the conversations in this community. We are starting something from the ground up and it is exciting. I am an open book so please feel free to ask me anything.
