My First Acoutic Panels
In 2023 I decided I wanted to upgrade my "sound recording booth" aka my walk-in closet. While the clothes that were in there were decent for absorption, I was getting a lot of reflection from the door and ceiling when belting out high notes on songs. After months of reading a watching youtube videos I landed on building some panels. There many ways to do this but this worked out pretty well so I thought I'd share. I've since upgraded, but I'll share that another day.
Materials list
Panel external dimensions 49" x 25" x 2"
Frame wood 1" x 2" x 92" (cut to size - cheapest I could find at the depot)
Insulation panels - I used one per panel
fabric covering - The stuff was recommended everywhere is it looks great!

Hangers - 2" worked well for me
Some people like to put space between panels and the wall. Discuss below :D
Small 1/2" screws to put frame together
Staple gun for attaching the fabric to the back of the frames
