D&D and Magic: The Gathering teams move to unionize with CWA

United Wizards of the Coast says the D&D team, including D&D Beyond workers, and Studio X, which includes tabletop Magic: The Gathering and Duel Masters workers, told company leadership they intend to unionize with the Communications Workers of America. They asked Wizards of the Coast to recognize the union by October 13, 2026, and called for better wages, job security, sustainable workloads and protection from AI.
