Wizards of the Coast reportedly declines voluntary recognition of D&D and Studio X union drive

Wizards of the Coast declined voluntary recognition of the Dungeons & Dragons and Studio X union drive, GamesIndustry.biz reports, citing Wargamer for the announcement and company confirmation. Eligible staff will instead vote in an NLRB-overseen secret-ballot election. The union seeks fair pay, job security, remote-work protections and an enforceable AI policy. GamesIndustry.biz says Wargamer obtained an email apparently sent to U.S. staff that promises Wizards will honor the result.
