The community-made bbport project now offers a downloadable Windows build that runs Bloodborne’s original PlayStation 4 x86-64 code directly on Windows 10 and 11, translating its graphics to Vulkan. It is not an official Sony or FromSoftware release, and it includes no game files: players need their own decrypted CUSA03173 dump, with version 1.09 required for the community’s frame-rate, resolution and effects patches.
The Steam Deck case rests on optimization work rather than a blanket compatibility promise. The repository’s history documents fixes for the Deck and other integrated GPUs, while Wccftech reports that bbport’s split GPU workload is designed to scale with available hardware threads, including the Deck’s. The project also offers adjustable resolution, DLSS, FSR 3.1 and FSR 4, plus frame-rate caps up to 120 FPS by default.
There are still sharp edges. The project says some AMD cards can crash when the game world loads, the character-creation preview is blank, and movement slows above roughly 120 FPS. Online play is also labeled beta: messages, bloodstains and wandering ghosts work, but bell-based summoning was not yet confirmed in the README snapshot. Destructoid notes that the build still relies on a shadPS4-derived renderer and that full playthroughs had not yet been verified.
