Rockstar has opened preorders for a $399.99 Grand Theft Auto VI collector's box, but buyers will still need to purchase the game separately. The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection is a standalone merchandise package built around Macca the Gator, a fictional television character from the game's version of Leonida.
The distinction matters because Rockstar does not present this as a game edition. Its store page explicitly says Grand Theft Auto VI is sold separately, while the game's Standard and Ultimate editions have their own listings. The collection is closer to a themed prop-and-apparel box than a conventional collector's edition with software inside.
Eleven pieces of Vice City merchandise
The package includes a Macca the Gator figurine with a twist-open base, matte-black Oakley Frogskins sunglasses with Prizm Sapphire lenses, a Leonida Keys crossbody bag and a New Era 9FORTY snapback. Rockstar also lists a magnetic pink-glass Macca mirror, a Chunky the Manatee shot glass, a decorative bar spoon and a metallic razor-shaped keychain.
The final pieces are a nine-pin enamel set, a nine-sticker vinyl pack and a double-sided souvenir poster. One side carries Vice City and Macca artwork; the reverse is a map of Leonida. Those 11 components come in a box measuring 19 by 13.5 by 12.5 inches.
Rockstar labels the collection an adult item for ages 18 and older and warns that it contains small parts and sharp points or edges. It is also excluded from the store's free-shipping offer.
Separate from the November game release
The game's own Rockstar Store listing puts the Standard Edition at $79.99 and schedules Grand Theft Auto VI for November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. That makes the $399.99 collection a separate purchase costing roughly five times as much as the base game.
The merchandise page exposes a shipping FAQ but did not reveal its answer in the inspected text, so the collection's delivery timing is not established here. What is clear from Rockstar's own listing is what the price buys and what it does not: 11 physical collectibles, with no copy of Grand Theft Auto VI in the box.
