Gears of War: E-Day estimates put sales at 230K copies and early-access upgrades at 722K

A post citing Alinea Analytics estimates puts Gears of War: E-Day at 230K copies sold: 168K on Steam and 62K on Xbox console and PC. The post estimates 1.7M people accessed the game through Game Pass, including 722K who paid $30 for early access. It puts Xbox revenue at roughly $26M of $37M overall and argues that the figures raise questions about day-one Game Pass releases.
