TLDR
On Oct. 26, 2026, Rock Paper Shotgun reported that SNEG Games had rereleased the 1994 horror game Ecstatica and its sequel on Steam and GOG. The original uses rounded shapes called ellipsoids for characters, most objects and much of its environment, though its engine could also render polygons. The reported rebuild offers controller support and modes based on the DOS and Windows 95 releases, plus high-resolution rendering.
