The official update preview says Update 1.1 is planned for the week of October 19, with new gameplay and accessibility options alongside more than 1,100 additional improvements and fixes.
Here’s what’s coming to The Blood of Dawnwalker with Update 1.1 planned for next week:
A new Draught of Mind Rebirth will let players forget their Swordmastery, Witchcraft, and Vampirism abilities, then use the time spent learning them on a different set of abilities. The update will also add directional petting for dogs and cats.
Story difficulty is being renamed Forgiving, while a new Story mode will add more combat assistance. New subtitle settings will let players increase the font size and display subtitles for every line of dialogue.
The technical changes include an updated FrameGen implementation with dedicated settings, revised combat animations and camera movement, and improvements to targeting, lock-on, and disengaging from enemies. Targeting and attaching to surfaces while using Shadowstep and Planeshift should also be more responsive. In the Japanese Steam version, blood and gore will no longer be censored.
