Switch 2 leads Japan hardware sales for Oct. 26 to Nov. 1, 2026, with 68,733 units

Switch 2 sold 68,733 units in Japan during the Oct. 26 to Nov. 1, 2026, sales week, the most among the hardware families listed in Gematsu’s report of Famitsu’s figures. The PlayStation 5 family sold 16,226 units, followed by the Switch family at 5,853 and the Xbox Series family at 892.

The software chart ranks individual editions, not games’ combined sales across platforms. Gematsu describes Famitsu’s figures as estimates of physical game sales in Japan. Nintendo Switch Sports Resort led individual editions, selling 23,466 retail copies on Switch 2 during the week. Final Fantasy Resonance sold 34,068 copies combined: 14,462 on Switch 2, 11,181 on PlayStation 5 and 8,425 on Switch.

The Switch 2 version of Minecraft was the week’s highest-selling new release, with 11,754 retail copies sold. It did not lead the overall single-edition chart.
