I enjoyed Alan Wake 2 more than Silent Hill 2.

When playing AW2, I couldn’t get off of it (give or take a couple of Alan’s parts which were such a slog in the beginning). Gameplay, atmosphere, collectible were all for the most part, really enjoyable.

Silent Hill 2 has been on the back burner since beating the Hospital. Can’t pinpoint the issue, they’re both good games.
