Pantaloon launches Playbill, a curated indie game subscription

GamesIndustry.biz reports that Playbill launches with games including Buckshot Roulette and Silt, alongside demos and playtests. Puzzles are free, while the full game roster requires a paid subscription. Pantaloon co-founder Jamin Smith told the outlet that partner games can leave when subscriber numbers exceed the keys Pantaloon purchased, while its own games will stay. Engadget reports Pantaloon says games using generative AI won't be featured.
