Rajinikanth's 'Jailer 2' reportedly tops ₹320 crore worldwide in three days

Kerala Box Office estimates that “Jailer 2” earned close to ₹128 crore worldwide on its first day, which would make it the third-biggest opening for a Tamil film behind “Coolie” and “Leo.” A separate tracker, Box Office - South India, later said the film crossed ₹200 crore worldwide on Day 2.

Those are fast-moving third-party estimates. Neither account disclosed a calculation method, territory breakdown, or audited distributor total, so the figures should be treated as provisional rather than final box-office reporting.

Overseas numbers point to a steady second day

Perth Tamil Movies reported A$375,675 in Australia on Day 1 and A$357,402 on Day 2. Its New Zealand figures were NZ$55,291 and NZ$51,663, respectively. Both markets therefore showed only modest day-to-day declines in that account's tally.

Bollywood Box Office called the Day 2 hold “terrific” and predicted another “industry hit” for Rajinikanth. That is the account's assessment, not a confirmed outcome, but the reported regional numbers help explain the optimism around the film's early run.
