ABC has set “High Potential” Season 3 for Jan. 5, 2027, with “The Rookie” Season 9 following on Jan. 6. The network’s midseason announcement also pairs “The Rookie” with the debut of “The Rookie: North,” the Jay Ellis-led spinoff, Selome Hailu reported in Variety’s Nov. 6 schedule rundown.
The January lineup mixes new-season premieres with shows resuming seasons that began in the fall. “American Idol” and “The Bachelor” arrive later, in February and March, respectively.
