ABC will air a new episode of High Potential immediately after Super Bowl LXI on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2027, with both the game and episode streaming on Disney+, Variety reports. The slot puts Kaitlin Olson’s crime drama in front of one of television’s biggest audiences.
The postgame installment will not be the season-three premiere. The Hollywood Reporter says the season is due to begin earlier in 2027, though ABC has not announced a premiere date. Regular episodes will air Tuesdays on ABC and stream the next day on Hulu.
Deadline reports that the Super Bowl episode is planned as the first half of a two-parter, ending on a cliffhanger that would conclude in the show’s regular Tuesday slot. The outlet attributes that detail to its own reporting; ABC’s announcement confirmed only the special episode.
ABC has not carried the Super Bowl since 2006, when it followed the game with Grey’s Anatomy. The network says High Potential ended the 2025-26 broadcast season as the top show among adults 18-49 and averaged 16.01 million viewers over 35 days across ABC, Hulu, Hulu on Disney+ and digital platforms.
