A24 documentary 'You Can See Everything' reportedly tops Monday box office with more than $2.5 million

A24's documentary You Can See Everything led the Monday, Oct. 19, box office with $2.57 million, Anthony D'Alessandro reported for Deadline. That put it ahead of Street Fighter, which Deadline reported earned $1.9 million. The result followed what the outlet described as an overperforming $15.6 million No. 2 opening for the documentary.

The reported Monday figures differ slightly. In an Oct. 20 post, BORReport put the film's Monday gross at $2.58 million from 855 locations and its running domestic total at $18.18 million. Deadline reported $2.57 million for Monday and a running North American tally of $18.1 million. Neither report explains why its Monday figure differs from the other's.

Deadline says the documentary, directed by Lance Oppenheim and Nathan Fielder, is set to expand to at least 2,600 theaters this weekend. The outlet suggested it could compete with Clayface, but described that matchup before the wider release.
