Dune: Part Three gets a new poster and ‘Desert Chant’ ahead of Dec. 18 North American release

Cinemark promoted a new poster and advance tickets for Dune: Part Three on Oct. 20, 2026. FilmUpdates described an IMAX poster release, while DiscussingFilm posted about what it called a new poster.

That same day, WaterTower Music announced that “Desert Chant,” credited to Timothée Chalamet and Hans Zimmer, was available. Variety called it the film’s first single. The outlet described the track as opening with Chalamet humming before rising into a war chant and said Zimmer wrote it.

Variety says Chalamet returns as Paul Atreides in a story inspired by Frank Herbert’s Dune Messiah. Cinemark’s synopsis places the story nearly two decades after Paul seized control of the Imperium. Its listing schedules the film for theaters and IMAX across North America on Dec. 18, 2026, with international releases beginning Dec. 16.
