First full trailer arrives for Jeremy Saulnier's thriller 'Slayground'

A24 has released a new poster for Slayground, Jeremy Saulnier's horror thriller, and said the full trailer will arrive October 20. Dread Central reports that the film opens in theaters January 29, 2027.

The poster turns a workplace safety sign into a horror gag: its "days since the last homicide" counter is set to zero, complete with a sad face. Dread Central says the film was previously titled October.

The cast includes Cory Michael Smith, Chase Sui Wonders, Sophie Wilde, Young Mazino and Stephen Root, according to DiscussingFilm. The Playlist reports that Saulnier wrote and directed the film; the ensemble also includes Imogen Poots, James Badge Dale and Matty Matheson.
