Jesse Eisenberg reportedly has an A24 TV series in the works

Jesse Eisenberg is preparing an untitled television series for A24 that he wrote, executive produces and is set to direct, Deadline reports. The trade publication says the project is expected to be taken to buyers in the coming weeks.

Deadline, citing sources, says the series adapts one of Eisenberg's short stories about a young woman whose beliefs are challenged by new ideas and relationships. Eisenberg told The Hollywood Reporter at the London Film Festival that it follows an 18-year-old girl in fall 2002 and concerns the beginning of the culture wars. Deadline says it is unclear which short story the show uses.
