The team keeps shipping. Yesterday's 1.7.4 release brought a round of mobile improvements you may have already spotted.

Today, we're back with a round of web and backend updates that should make things noticeably smoother.

Link Scraper Improvements

Links from sites like wsj.com, nytimes.com, and many more now properly pull in images, titles, and previews. Some sites still may block scraping, but this should be a big improvement for our most shared domains.

Feed Improvements

Scrolling through feeds on web should feel smoother now, with less of the jumpiness some of you may have noticed.

We also fixed the empty feeds bug that popped up this week for newest and trending sorts. We tracked it down to a few edge cases on the backend, those are now resolved and live across all platforms.
