Vaccines are one of modern medicine's biggest breakthroughs β according to the World Health Organization, they save roughly four to five million lives every year. Some parts of the US are better at vaccinating than others, though.
To find out which states are most on top of keeping their populations immunized, WalletHub compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia β on factors ranging from adult flu vaccination rate to whether or not minors can get vaccinated without guardian consent β and ranked them according to their scores.
Top Three Best States For Vaccination

The state that vaccinates the most overall is Massachusetts, ranking best in the country for both children and teenager immunization rates and immunization uptake disparities and influencing factors.

Rhode Island is the second-highest scoring state when it comes to vaccination, scoring second-best for the above categories after Massachusetts.

Third place goes to Iowa, where adults and the elderly see the seventh-best vaccination rates overall.
