Have you ever heard of critical flicker fusion rate? I hadn't either. It's the threshold at which a blinking light switches from being perceived as flickering to continuous. Dragonflies and honeybees are by far the best at this, while frogs and eels are the worst. Humans sit right in the middle compared to 90 other animals.

Lasik by OCLI Vision's infographic shows the animals who have the best and worst eyesight in the animal kingdom. The determining factors for who has better eyesight come down to distance, color and light perception, field of vision and vision speed based on flicker fusion frequency.
