Sweetened French Toast: Potato Bread
Today, I tried making sweetened French toast using potato bread.
I used approximately 144g of potato bread.
In a large coffee mug, I whisked together one egg, 1/4 cup of milk, one tablespoon of sugar, and a pinch of cinnamon.
I blended the ingredients thoroughly using an electric hand mixer.
I poured the mixture onto a plate to prepare for soaking.
I heated a pan to 350°F and added two tablespoons of oil.
I let the potato bread soak in the mixture for about 45 seconds on each side.
I placed the bread in the pan and covered it with a lid for two minutes.
After two minutes, I flipped the bread and cooked it for an additional two minutes.
That's it.
