iPhone 18 Pro is shaping to be yet another meaninful update for the phone. Anyone else feeling weird about the rumored Camera Control refresh?

I was reading this MacRumors piece about everything the iPhone 18 Pro series will have, and the thing that stood out the most is the Camera Control refresh. I really like Camera Control as a concept and I feel like if Apple did the work to roll it out with the 16 series the way it did it should promote it more and encourage more user adoption. Sure, it's not perfect, but rather than a compromise like this maybe just get rid of it completely.
