XBOW built a three-bug Chrome exploit chain with GPT-5.6 Sol in six days

XBOW Labs says its researchers guided AI agents using GPT-5.6 Sol to build a Chrome exploit chain combining flaws in V8, animated WebP decoding and Crashpad. The six-day effort cost roughly $40,000 in API charges, and XBOW says Google awarded the chain a $250,000 reward. A separate post estimates that a vulnerability would affect 1 billion users and argues that defenders could use such tools to secure their software.
