Elon Musk says Grok @Bot can shop on a user's behalf after the user shares a photo of a credit card in the chat. In his post, Musk said the bot would search the internet for the best deal on a requested item and place the order.
Musk's post did not include details about how the card image would be stored or protected, whether the user would approve the final purchase, which merchants the bot could use, or when the capability would become available. The statement describes a shopping workflow, not an independent test of the service.
