The default wall of text is a flawed way to connect with AIs, partially because people don't want to read all that & partially because, if they do, it is full of too many distractions which cause excess cognitive load (as paper shows) & partially because AI writing is only okay.
It is why Google's experiments with interesting interfaces (Stitch, Flow) are important, as is Claude Design. It is also why I think a single text-based everything app that was originally optimized for coding has limits when applied to other kinds of knowledge work.
