When you're working with coding agents the transcript becomes one of the most significant artifacts of the work you are doing, I think recording those is just as important (if not more so) than maintaining good commit messages and issues for tracking your decisions over time

I've been using it to export copies of transcripts, paste them into a Gist and then link to them from my relevant commit messages and PRs, it was SO good - here's an example transcript: https://gist.github.com/simonw/10088f6abc1fc8852bac3bda54d4bd94

I'd been letting Codex Desktop update itself, now I feel like I need to hold out on upgrades in case they remove key features that I'm depending on!
