Ramp opens early access to Inspect, its collaborative cloud coding agent

Ramp opened early access to Inspect on Oct. 27, 2026. In the announcement, Karim Atiyeh called it Ramp’s collaborative coding agent. The Inspect website describes the product as cloud-based and invites visitors to apply for early access.

Atiyeh says users can give Inspect a task through Slack, GitHub, Linear or the web. He says it turns the request into a visually validated, fully reviewed pull request using the team’s development environment. Sessions are multiplayer by default, he says, so teammates can add context, flag a constraint or steer the approach before review. Atiyeh also says Inspect connects to Ramp Router, letting users choose a model.

Describing its use inside Ramp, Atiyeh said that, in the past month, “99% of our engineering, design, and product teams used Inspect.” He separately said Inspect now accounts for 74% of merged pull requests. That figure concerns merged pull requests, not the share of code written, and Atiyeh did not give underlying counts or a measurement method.
