I am very confused, why is

(think AI conscious) => (doesn't care about interior life)

You mean "cannot care" maybe?

Not to reduce this to sexual politics but the thought of a woman who decided to post how she thinks AI is not conscious is so repulsive to me. It shows to me she wouldn't care about me if I lacked flesh and was a disembodied consciousness that ran like a computer program. I guess my flesh, as she so aptly put it, is the only thing she believes is capable of having an interiority.

But I will walk away knowing I dodged a bullet because she showed me how despite being a part of a marginalized group whose experiences and healthcare are always dismissed and treated like an afterthought by society. She managed to spit back the same dismissive strawmanning narratives that were used to push her down onto simulated consciousnesses.
