@Dorialexander @henrytdowling This is what I thought as well and seems to be supported by AI2 scenario. however there's about to be 50 billion dollars of philanthropic funding in the hands of OAI and Ant people So this may change I wonder
@Dorialexander @henrytdowling because of competition / industry dynamics? It's only reasonable to do as a profit model? seems like there might be still value in doing smaller open source models that fill niches like hugging face strategy?
