Why do the stars seem brighter in wintertime?

Because in December, January and February, we are looking away from the thick stars and clouds of the Milky Way’s core and toward the Orion spiral arm, where bright stars reside.

Illinois gamestore honors Dave Trampier with new mural

Castle Perilous in Carbondale Illinois recently unveiled a mural honoring legendary D&D artist Dave Trampier, who passed away there in 2014 after living many years in relative obscurity after leaving TSR in 1988.
