Have You Ever Thought About Writing a Book… or Is That Just Me?

There’s this quote people love to throw around: “Everyone has at least one book inside them.” I used to roll my eyes at it. Now I’m not so sure. Think about it. People survive wild childhoods, strange careers, heartbreaks, recoveries, identities they had to rebuild from scratch.

Majority (77%) of books in Amazon's ‘Success' self-help genre likely written by AI

A recent study by AI detector Originality.ai found that 77% of the 844 books in Amazon's 'Success' self-help subgenre published between August 31 and November 28, 2025, were likely written by AI. The study revealed that 90% of these books contained AI-written elements in their descriptions, bios, or sample texts. The author of the study, Michael Fraiman, argues that this practice is damaging to Amazon's brand and unfair to consumers who may not realize they are purchasing AI-generated content.
