There's something satisfying about a perfectly executed demolition, and nothing illustrates that better than one tall, thin smoke stack toppling down exactly on another. Watch:

For most, this just a cool video of a couple of smoke stacks toppling over. But for the town of Nanticoke, Ontario on the Canadian shore of Lake Erie, this is a big deal. These chimneys, which were knocked down at 11am on Wednesday morning, belonged to the Nanticoke Generating Station, once a major employer in the small industrial town and formerly the largest coal-fired power plant in North America. A lump of coal hasn't burned at the plant since 2013.
