I've yet to download and try one of these titles but hopefully loading times will be much faster

I was a bit worried because it came up with an error message telling me I had to download a 2.3MB update ontop of the current dashboard update in order to support AAC Ipod something meh. So I downloaded it and everything is fine.

- drakino, on 12/04/2007, -4/+34Sorry, thats 9.4 gigs of space used for two games on a hard drive that can only hold 13gb, and thats for those that paid $100 over the base model 360. Now if you paid even more for that shiny black hard 360, it might be worth it, but somehow the cost of a 120gb XBox drive for $179 plus the cost of these games doesn't provide enough of a benefit over just buying these games on disc from the bargain bin.
Really a shame to see such a cool idea hurt by Microsoft being cheep with their hardware. It's just like their video marketplace. Great for rentals, but horrible for shows you want to keep around. - nape, on 12/04/2007, -1/+28You can play xvids off cdrs/dvdrs! I can't believe it!

- DigitalKid215, on 12/04/2007, -3/+18I might get dugg down for this but, I'm happy for Divx & Xvid support! What I'm not happy or excited about is the ability to download original xbox games. It's not that it's a bad idea but MS messed up in how they handled the whole hard drive thing and not to mention pricing.
1st. Majority of us have the 20GB HDD w/ no price change on it or the 120GB. One of these games will eat all your storage space with all the updates, XLA games, & Demos.
2nd. No price drop on the 120GB drive or additional options for additional or external storage. That would be kick ass!
3rd. Why pay for these games on XBL when you can still get them much cheaper other places.
MS does some good things but they also do a lot of dumb things too when it comes to the 360. The core should have had a hard drive especially knowing they were going to be offering additional downloads bad move as it will hurt XBL download sales; at the very lease made a 10GB drive for the core.
I'm overall happy with the update but the thing with original xbox games kinda of sucks if you still have a 20GB drive and the price for the games doesn't make me want to go damn near buy another 360 just for playing older games; albeit some good ones that I can still find cheaper. (120GB HDD is $180 + $10 per game and it adds up fast + Movies and other misc.) 120GB HDD is still waaaayyyy overpriced! A 250GB 2.5in drive is going for less than that right now!

1) The Video Library, I have the 120GB HDD with 35GB of video, 130 vids to be exact. The way it is now organized makes it great to view my many seasons of Family Guy, South Park, Wild Boyz, Jericho, Beavis & Butthead and plenty of others.
2) The gamer profile. Finally we get a little more customization for our Gamer Card. I would like to have larger pictures but all the extra text is nice to fill friends in on stuff. Me likes.
I got up early to download and check it out and i'm pretty impressed, not everything I would want but good enough. I'll give the system a full workout later today.
I also may download Indio Prophecy and give it a go. I also will download Burnout when that hits. Good job Microsoft, keep the system growing and i'll keep my friends playing. - Tserk, on 12/04/2007, -3/+14Time to copy all the porn off the dvd-r's and onto the PC?

Seriously, I just don't understand why people even care about having a web browser on their consoles. MAYBE if it allowed you to browse while playing a game to get a quick hint for something I could see a use, but other than that, why bother?

I may add that anybody may want to hold off on that, even more so if you are a Xbox.com forum poster. Trixie of Xbox.com stated there is a minor glitch that will be fixed within a few days.
