My mom goes out shopping all day for the family, knows there's some game I want but doesn't understand there are multiple consoles, and buys me the PS2 version of a game despite me only having XBOX. Believe it or not, not everyone is into video games.

When I was younger and finally saved up for a nintendo64, my dad wanted to buy me a game to add to it so I had more to play, and he bought me a playstation game, because he had no idea what the differences were. If someone can buy a disc for a console with no disc slot/ tray, it's not hard to imagine that someone could grab the wrong controller.

  • jostheller, on 01/02/2008, -1/+5Don't pretend to not be annoyed by multi-disc games. That is what BD brings to the game quality. Obviously it doesn't improve graphics, but it does cut down on the annoyance of changing disc's, which will happen for the 360 in the near future.

    Additionally having a system that supports 1 next gen movie format so that you don't need to jump the gun and pick a side on the format war, is a big plus.
