Rare won't fix SDTV Banjo-Kazooie text issue

joystiq.com — Rare has confirmed that Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts' unclear text on standard definition televisions will not be fixed. The issue came to light following the release of the demo last week and now Rare states that the issue is "too expensive in terms of time, resources and money to alter."

  • jon02129, on 11/07/2008, -0/+1I downloaded the demo recently from LIVE in giddy anticipation, only to be met with text i couldn't read. I tried. I got a headache. And i had no choice but to stop playing as i had no idea what to do.

    Pre-order canceled.

    ANYWAYS. my pre-order has been cancelled too. Only got the one HDTV but i use my console on multiple TV's
